For 2022, the new Ford F-350 has strengthened the frame reinforcements. On the XL models, there's an available armrest storage space for our Lake Havasu and Kingman AZ truck buyers. The new Ford F-350 also has new LED warning strobes available with a 360-degree arc. The Lariat trim has some new upgrades that are now standard including Ford's SYNC4 infotainment system plus satellite radio, and Atlas Blue is a new F-350 paint color.
Engine choices in the Ford F-350
The 2022 Ford F-350 offers a choice of three engines but even the base is not exactly the shy, retiring type. It's a big 6.2-liter naturally aspirated V8 with 385 horsepower and 430 pound feet of torque. Wanna go even bigger? One step up is a mammoth 7.3-liter V8 with 430 horsepower and 475 pound feet of torque. But the ultimate in power is the 6.7-liter turbo diesel V8 with 475 horsepower and a jaw-dropping 1,050 pound feet of torque.

Get the new Ford F-350 with the long bed and rear-wheel drive plus dual rear wheels and you can pack as much as 7,850 pounds. In terms of towing, the numbers get really big. Go with the Ford F-350's diesel engine, Crew Cab, dual rear wheels along with rear wheel drive and you can tow 21,200 pounds. With the diesel engine in a Regular Cab plus rear wheel drive and dual rear wheels, you can tow an absolutely amazing 35,750 pounds.
What kind of technology is available in the Ford F-350?
In higher trim levels, the Ford F-350 has an 8.0-inch touch screen available. Move up to the King Ranch, Platinum or Limited trim and the standard infotainment display is 12.0 inches. Bigger screens come with Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ and a navigation feature is available. The base XL trim comes with a four-speaker stereo but go to the Lariat trim or higher and get a premium Bang & Olufsen 10-speaker stereo with a subwoofer.
