Design
Both rows of seating inside of the Edge provide plenty of space for stretching out and enjoying every drive. There are over 39 cubic feet of cargo space behind the backseat and over 73 cubic feet with those seats folded. If you'd like to make sure your passengers stay comfortable as you travel around Kingman, the Edge has dual-zone automatic climate control on the standard feature list. You can also opt for a model with available features, such as heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and driver's seat memory settings.
The exterior of the new Ford Edge is bold and sleek. LED headlights are a feature that comes standard across the board, and you also can show off alloy wheels as you cruise through Laughlin, NV. Available exterior features for the new Ford SUV include rain-sensing windshield wipers, fog lights, and all-terrain tires for when the road gets rough.
Performance
For most trim levels, the Edge uses a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine and an eight-speed automatic transmission. This setup provides you with 250 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque. If you choose the Edge ST model, your SUV will have a turbo 2.7-liter V6 engine that makes 335 horsepower and 380 pound-feet of torque. This engine gets a seven-speed automatic transmission, and every new Edge comes with all-wheel drive.
Technology
Every Ford Edge comes with a 12-inch touchscreen to give you access to an intuitive infotainment system. Android Auto, Amazon Alexa, and Apple CarPlay are among the standard features, plus a six-speaker sound system to listen to satellite radio. If desired, the Edge can also come with a 12-speaker premium setup by Bang & Olufsen. Additional available tech upgrades include wireless device charging and navigation.
Safety
The modern Ford Edge helps protect what matters most to you with the Ford Co-Pilot360™ bundle of features. Every version of this SUV receives blind-spot monitoring, forward-collision warning, and a lane-keeping system. Pedestrian detection and automatic high beams are also available, further helping to protect you as you travel around Parker. MyKey is another feature provided to you by the Edge, allowing you to set limits on speed and radio volume when someone uses the secondary key fob.
Available safety features for the new Edge include adaptive cruise control, lane-centering assist, rear parking sensors, and evasive steering assist. You can also get this SUV equipped with adaptive headlights that corner with the vehicle, plus a front-view camera.
