When Ford introduced the Mustang Mach-E, people talked. When the F-150 Lightning was introduced, it was a class leader. As Ford continues to grow its electric vehicle portfolio, there is a lot to look forward to for drivers in Lake Havasu.
What's Next?
The next in Ford's electrification strategy is the Ford Transit van. These vehicles are popular as delivery vehicles and with contractors. Knowing they have a set number of miles to drive daily or limited driving to and from a job site eliminates range anxiety. The electric delivery van market is already well-proven by Amazon, and the Ford Transit will be a welcome competitor available to the general public, unlike Amazon vehicles.
Hybrids
As Ford strives to reduce CO2 emissions, expanding their hybrid vehicle line plays a major role in this effort. The lineup consists of the Ford Escape, Ford Maverick, and the venerable F-150. These vehicles give drivers a variety of choices as Ford continues to build their EV and PHEV offerings in Bullhead City.
Growing Infrastructure
Part of Ford's strategy for electrification is to grow the infrastructure. Ford EV drivers now have access to the Tesla Supercharger network through the BlueOval Charge Network, North America's largest fast-charge network. Ford is also building two battery plants in Kentucky to help meet future demand for EVs, drive innovation, and reimagine how EVs and their batteries are designed, built, and recycled. Some EV buyers may also qualify for a complimentary at-home charging station and installation when buying a Ford EV.
