2018 Navigator Versatility
Because it offers seating for up to seven passengers, the 2018 Navigator is perfect for those who need a little extra space when heading up to the lake for the weekend, or for bringing the kids and their friends to practice. Because the Navigator has been crafted to offer the highest in quality and comfort throughout each of its three rows of seating, you'll never have to worry about anyone complaining about not getting shotgun. When you need extra space instead of extra seats, both the second-row and third-row of seats are capable of folding down to provide you with best-in-class cargo room.
When you need to haul something a little too big to fit on the inside of your vehicle, you'll love the best-in-class towing capability that the 2018 Navigator offers. Thanks to a Twin-Turbocharged engine, the 2018 Navigator is able to crank out up to 450 horsepower, and an eye-popping 510 lb-ft of torque ready and waiting to bring your trailer full of supplies, or even your boat wherever you need to go. When properly equipped, the 2018 Navigator is able to tow up to 8,700 pounds.
2018 Navigator Technology
Available on the 2018 Navigator is a Head-Up Display that helps to reduce the amount of time that you spend with your eyes off the road. This feature digitally projects helpful information about your vehicle, such as speed, time, temperature, navigation, technology, and more right on your windshield. The display is adjustable so even if you're a little taller or shorter, you'll be able to get the information exactly where you need it. Because the display uses digital light projection, or DLP, your display will be visible in ambient lighting, and even while you're wearing polarized sunglasses!
Also available on the 2018 Navigator is a Lane-Keeping System. By using a camera located behind the rearview mirror, your Navigator will be able to constantly monitor and sense your precise location on the road. By doing so, the Navigator will detect when you begin to unintentionally veer out of your lane, and will send you an alert in the instrument clutter display to get you back into your correct position. When you want to intentionally switch lanes, all you'll need to do is use your turn signal and the system will recognize you're changing on purpose.
