2018 MKZ Design
Take one look at the 2018 Lincoln MKZ and you'll be hooked. The 2018 MKZ has been given more sleek lines to give it an elegant and sophisticated exterior look. These added lines allow the 2018 MKZ to convey a look of movement, even while it's standing still. One thing that hasn't been changed on the exterior of the 2018 MKZ is the Lincoln Signature Grille. The grille features the Lincoln Star motif which has been placed in on an upward angle to make it look like it's ready to lead you on your next adventure. Up top, the 2018 MKZ features an available fully-retractable, panoramic glass roof to provide breath-taking views of the Southwestern skies.
When you walk up to your 2018 MKZ with your keys in your pocket, purse, or hands, it will be able to sense that you are close and approach lights will illuminate your walk to your car. These lights are located both in the front and back of the vehicle. This is perfect if you're wandering around the parking lot trying to remember where you parked, you'll know exactly which car is yours when you get close enough for the sensors to light up for you. When you get closer to the driver's door, a Lincoln logo welcome mat will greet you and invite you back inside of it where you belong.
2018 MKZ Technology
Available on the 2018 Lincoln MKZ is a Lane-Keeping System that is able to use a camera mounted behind the rearview mirror to monitor your vehicle's position on the road. If the system detects that you begin to unintentionally drift into another lane, it is capable of sending you an alert in the instrument cluster display. It can also gently help you to steer back into your lane, however it will not take complete control of your steering. How does it know when you're intentionally changing lanes, you ask? It's simple. To let the system know that you're changing lanes on purpose, all you need to do is use your turn signal.
Another available technology on the 2018 MKZ is the Enhanced Active Park Assist system. This feature is perfect for those who do not enjoy trying to squeeze into any tight parking spaces, or even the dreaded parallel parking. Thanks to ultrasonic sensors located on the vehicle, the 2018 MKZ is able to detect available parking spots that it knows it can fit into. Then, as you take control of the accelerator, brake, and shifting, your 2018 MKZ will park itself! The system even helps you drive out of any tight spots, helping to keep any unwanted love taps on other vehicles at bay.
