2018 Fiesta Performance
With two distinct engine options, the 2018 Fiesta is capable of providing you with all the power, and all the efficiency you could ever ask for in your four-door. Coming standard on the Fiesta S, SE, and Titanium models is the 1.6L Ti-VCT I4 engine. This straight-shooter is compatible with both an automatic transmission and a manual for those who love feeling the power as they shift the gears. The PowerShift six-speed automatic transmission features a SelectShift® system which gives you the convenience of an automatic, with the excitement of a manual.
Those looking to add a little kick to their Fiesta will love the Fiesta ST. This sporty sedan looks like it belongs on the racetrack rather than your driveway. With its turbocharged, direct-injection 1.6L EcoBoost I4, you'll even start to feel like you're coming through the straightaways at Phoenix International Raceway. This beast of an engine is capable of cranking out up to 197 horsepower and a jaw-dropping 202 lb-ft of torque that will have you wondering why you've ever driven anything else. The Fiesta ST also features sport-tuned suspension components as well as Torque Vectoring Control to help manage any understeer in corners.
2018 Fiesta Technology
Coming standard on the 2018 Fiesta is a rear-view camera that gives you eyes in the back of your car to see what's immediately behind you. This feature is perfect for backing into parking spots, parallel parking, or even if you have children who enjoy leaving their toys on the driveway! Simply shift into reverse and the camera will automatically turn itself on to provide you with a wide view of the area behind your Fiesta. The rear-view camera also helps you gauge how close or far you are away from any objects with appropriately-colored indicators.
Also standard on the 2018 Fiesta is a Hill Start Assist feature. If you've ever parked on an incline before, you know that it can be a tad tricky to get your car going forward again. Often times you'll take your foot off the brake and while you're shifting towards the gas pedal, your car will begin to roll backwards. With this innovative feature, your Fiesta will be able to keep pressure on the brake pedal for up to two seconds after you take your foot off. This will give you plenty of time to get your foot on the accelerator and get your Fiesta moving in the right direction!
